They started with a guided visit to the Dimitrios Demu Museum, where they were able to walk through the fantastic world that this exemplary artist built in our city, receiving all the interesting information from the museum staff about his life and work. Then they went to the headquarters of La Tortuga Foundation where they were welcomed by the staff of Rao Anzoátegui to learn about the wonderful world of sea turtles.

Then they went to the headquarters of La Tortuga Foundation where they were welcomed by the staff of Rao Anzoátegui to learn about the wonderful world of sea turtles.

The students toured the facilities of La Tortuga Foundation and were able to learn about the recycling project implemented by the institution, a subject that caught their attention since it had been a topic of study in their classrooms.

Afterward, a talk took place for more than an hour, as the young people’s interventions were not long in coming. They were very impatient to have their questions answered and even more so after being able to watch the video that was included in the talk. In this video you can see the whole process of nesting of a cardon turtle with the subsequent hatching of the baby turtles. The boys and girls were certainly committed to the task of conserving these animals.

At the end of the activity they had "their share" in the company of their representatives and teacher, saying goodbye and thanking the hospitality of the institution.
