From 8:30 in the morning, the group of young people took very seriously the collection of the waste left by visitors and that, unfortunately, affect these spaces.

Much astonishment was generated by the presence of used diapers since this waste is immediately associated with parents of babies who do not care about the damage in terms of pollution generated. "That’s their babies’, why should those of us who visit the beaches to enjoy them have to put up with it? - said one of the participants.

Dirtying the beaches harms all of us: those who visit them, those who admire them, those who take care of them, and those who live from the activities that take place there. Let’s make an effort to make them CLEAN AND HEALTHY spaces for locals and tourists.

La Tortuga Foundation thanks the students, teacher and El Manglar School for the effort made and, at the same time, invites all educational institutions that want to carry out outdoor activities to raise awareness and educate to contact them through their email infofundatortuga@gmail.com or by phone (0281) 2817469
