Ambientarrrt left its mark in Caracas
Much has been said about the serious problems that threaten the environment, so Fundación La Tortuga (FLT) spreads part of the possible solutions in an original way. The Ambientarrrt program transmits conservation ideas through performance, fashion, video, and music and in its 2010 edition moved to Caracas to offer a simple show full of creativity and fun.
Fundación La Tortuga moved to the Venezuelan capital to carry its message in favor of the environment with a small show that invites fashion, art, and ecology lovers to preserve nature in an original and creative way.
The fair spaces of the Expreso Chacaito and Expreso Baruta shopping malls were filled with ecological vibes during the event created by Chelo Nogueira, vice-president of FLT. Robert Bracho and Gerardo Mudarra, members of the allied team of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), were collaborators of the cultural activity that invites them to work for the environment.
The artistic initiative showed a video art related to the life of sea turtles in their natural habitat, which was linked to dance. Afterward, the modeling emphasized, even more, the alternatives to improve the environment, through the application of the 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle). Robert Bracho’s designs were put on the runway by Gerardo Mudarra’s models, who wore the latest collection made from beach grape tree leaves, plastic bags, glass, and newspaper.
The Ambientarrrt program invites you to use your imagination to take advantage of materials that are discarded daily and expresses possible and ingenious solutions to the problems facing our environment today. Ambientarrrt seeks, in its 2010 edition, to extend to other states of Venezuela.
