La Tortuga Foundation is offering a new stage in environmental education by making available to everyone a series of dynamic tutorials on how to make accessories and utilitarian objects from the perspective of reuse.
In its Virtual Environmental Education Room, the organization has produced several tutorials that explain in a very simple way, the elaboration of tendrils, baskets, bags, and cups from the reuse of newspaper and plastic containers.
The creators of these videos are students of the Rodolfo Loero Arismendi University Institute of Industrial Technology (IUTIRLA), who, as students of the Audiovisual Career, have put their knowledge into practice by supporting the foundation in this new educational project. Under the supervision of Chelo Nogueira and the coordination of Mayrelis Palacios, this group of students successfully completed their community service at the institution.
The Virtual Environmental Education Room is a project that has been consolidated thanks to the contribution of private companies (Digitel and Venezuela Sin Límites) and the presence of young people who wish to develop their skills, as described above.
The environmental organization invites everyone to visit its website and YouTube channel in order to enjoy these fresh tutorials and contribute to environmental conservation, making use of the second R: Reuse.
