Hernán Coa is an artist, photographer, and goldsmith recognized in the eastern part of the country. He conceals his deep knowledge of the arts in a humble way, but his students say that he is very firm and methodical in his teachings.

Different pieces were elaborated by those who participated in this two-week course. Rings, earrings, and crowns were made with semiprecious and glass stones, metals, and a lot of cutting, shaping, and polishing work that made the participants smile with pride at the jewelry they had made.

Goldsmithing is an artistic work that is done basically for the elaboration of pieces from the use of precious metals and through techniques such as hammering, heating, and melting in the beginning. Alloys are also used.

La Tortuga Foundation invites everyone to follow it through its social networks (Facebook and Twitter) and its website to take advantage of these educational and artistic encounters that help everyone in the search for sustainable trades.
